
Profile - Mahwish Iftikhar
Mahwish is one of our most experienced assistant instructors.
Her role involves overseeing students progress particularly during the intermediate stages of their syllabus.
She provides administrative support to the Dojo grading process through monitoring/tracking the School register and attendance.
She is also first aid certified.
Mahwish began her training 9 years ago and has managed to keep a good balance between her university life and Dojo training. Karate has helped her develop confidence mentally and physically.
She is currently training to take her 1st Dan (Black Belt) this year and is also helping the Dojo grow. Last year, she conducted an introductory Karate session at one of the local islamic centres.
She is CSLA (Community Sports and Leadership Award) certified
and is qualified in teaching sports to the wider community. On a personal level, she is particularly interested in learning about the body;
Graduate in Nutrition from the University of Westminster and is currently training to become a fitness instructor.
