Profile - Dasina Kerai

Dasina Kerai began training 2 years ago at Empty Hands Kara Te School, with a history of training at many other martial arts Dojo’s previously. She has been training since the age of 7 and is currently involved in the EmptyHands apprenticeship programme where she is a Deshi (Dojo apprentice).

Her role is to assist in Dojo management and help/support beginners in their KaraTe training. Dasina aspires to become a fully licensed KaraTe Instructor one day through everyday practice and persistence. Currently, she is actively involved in shadowing assistant instructors and helping out with the beginners.

Dasina is currently in her first year of GCSE, at Valentines High School, and is enthusiastic in what she does. In addition, she supports others around her and younger citizens in their education by providing support in tutoring. Dasina has a very positive attitude and has made impressive progress with her syllabus moving from the intermediate class to the advance.
